Diabetes doubled in its Youth and Treatment

In most countries around the world has seen an increasing number of children and young people with diabetes. While that is usually easy to distinguish mind on whether a child has diabetes type 1 or 2, in some cases young people have elements of both types of affection.
This new phenomenon has been labeled as “double diabetes”. In this article, the author tells us about the existence of double diabetes and the implications of this affection for the initial categorization and treatment of young people diagnosed with diabetes.
The incidence of type 1 diabetes and type 2 is on the rise among children and adolescents. In fact, type 1 diabetes is growing particularly among the very young. Recent data from multiple countries EURODIAB study indicate that the overall prevalence of type 1 diabetes among people under 15 by more than 3% annually, and more than 6% in children up to 4 years. During the last decade and a half, there has been an increase in the incidence of type 2 diabetes-induced obesity among young people in countries around the world.
